Dental Emergencies

There is a common misconception that it is prudent to visit the emergency room after a dental emergency. However, emergency rooms do not have the specialized instruments or personnel necessary to treat dental emergencies. A dental emergency is that in which a condition requires immediate dental care for tooth preservation or pain reduction. If you are in considerable pain, do not hesitate to contact our dental practice at (763) 689-1151 for immediate emergency care. If our dentist is not available at that specific moment, we will still prioritize your need for care.

When in doubt, reach out for assistance after what you suspect to be a dental emergency. Delaying has the potential to complicate subsequent procedures and prove quite expensive. As an example, if you suffer excruciating pain, believe you have a fractured tooth, cannot get a foreign object out from between your teeth, are bleeding from the mouth or lost a filling/crown, you are undergoing a dental emergency. Be proactive, ask for assistance and we will prioritize your request for help, providing timely dental treatment that reduces your pain and improves your quality of life.
